No, that is not a typo! Whilst I grew up in Australia, my family are French and so I get to go through life explaining that it is Ambre, not Amber!

Interiorology was formed in 2021.

After a 20+ year career as a public sector economist, I decided to follow my heart, and enrolled in a Certificate of Interior Design.

Once completed, I launched Interiorology and quickly found clients who needed help updating rooms, selecting internal and exterior paint colours and also more comprehensive help selecting furniture, fittings and fixtures as part of new builds.

In 2022, life changed again, and my family and I moved to Jakarta, Indonesia, where we now live.

Living in Indonesia, I have come to realise that this country produces some of the most beautiful, colourful, unique and functional homewares I have ever seen.

Honestly, there is more to Indonesia than the windchimes everyone seems to bring back from Bali!

There is also more to home decor than the cheap, mass-produced items we find at department stores in Australia.

As a result, in 2023 I launched Interiorology Homewares.

Interiorology Homewares offers a small range of beautiful, unique, functional, colourful and well-priced homewares sourced by me as I travel around this gorgeous country. No two items are alike, and they are like nothing you can find in Australia.
